Safety is our number one priority and is always at the forefront of each job that we do. We care about our team, and their health and safety, no matter where they are working. Blue Cord goes above and beyond to create the safest working environment possible for all involved on our projects. One recent example of this is rolling out a safer alternative to the standard safety headgear: the KASK helmet! Just as design and construction technology progresses, so should the critical equipment we rely on for protection. OSHA-compliant for 10 years, the KASK helmet is more costly up front compared to most existing hardhats, but the added safety benefits and longevity make these a worthy investment for our team.

We are proud to champion the efforts for trusted and improved head protection in our industry. The KASK helmets are safer, lighter, and more comfortable than the traditional hardhat, and ensures that our team is always protected, drastically improving site safety for the future.

As the prime contractor for each of our projects, Blue Cord is responsible for the development, education, and implementation of an on-site safety program and strives to provide safe and healthy working conditions for all employees, subcontractors, and staff. We work hard to ensure that all our staff have the knowledge they need to create a safety-focused environment and know that the safe decision is always the right decision. Full participation, cooperation, and support are necessary to ensure the safety of all people and property involved in every construction project.

Our projects are staffed with proficient, experienced supervisors and qualified workers, all planning and executing work while being mindful and identifying any potentially hazardous conditions. Blue Cord utilizes an internal training matrix to ensure all employees stay current with First Aid & CPR, QCM training, OSHA 30-hour, and asbestos, excavation, scaffolding and fall protection training.
